Bioshock Infinite (2013)

In the first of the Bioshock franchise you learn of a little girl named Masha Lutz who had been taken from her family by Andrew Ryan’s men and turned into a little sister by Dr. Suchong’s conditioning. Her parents then committed suicide in despair when they realized she no longer knew them.

In Bioshock Infinite : Burial At Sea Ep. 2, you meet two little girls inside of Dr. Suchong’s Free Clinic. The two girls are named Leta and Masha. They are seen cowering in fear from an injured Bouncer, which they refer to as “Monster”. Once Elizabeth reveals that the Big Daddy will die without their ADAM, the two girls feel sorry for the monster, believing that it’s unfair he’s going to die. Leta then injects him with some of Masha’s ADAM-rich blood, healing him. The Big Daddy then adopts the two girls, completing the bond that Suchong had been working so hard to create.

Red Dead Redemption (2010)

Reports of the ghost town Tumbleweed in the New Austin territory seem to flood the newspapers of this game with stories of hauntings in the abandoned city. With stories such as “Following recent reports of ghost sightings in the abandoned town of Tumbleweed, visitors are continuing to tell of unnatural happenings and strange feelings.”

If you do manage to visit the abandoned mansion in the town however, you begin to realize the reports might not all be crazy. You will begin hearing whispers and footsteps. A dog will bark constantly, but there will be no dog. Follow the sound of the barking, and it will take you to a cemetery. Still no dog. If you make your way to the church house beside the cemetery though, you will find an alter with the words “The Devil has got into that beast”.

Going back to the whispers and footsteps, you can actually find the cause of those using a no-clip hack. Find a locked door in the mansion and no-clip through it to find a bunch of villagers walking around as if nothing is wrong.

On a side note : If one ghost town isn’t enough for you, go to a town and kill every man, woman, child, and beast you can find. The game will then treat the town as another ghost town.

Batman : Arkham Origins (2013)

Before encountering the Penguin on his ship, the Final Offer, you come across a scale model of the ship in a display case.

The accompanying dialogue from the Penguin reveals that the Final Offer was originally called the Olivia B. Meredith - a reference to Burgess Meredith (real name: Oliver Burgess Meredith), the actor who portrayed the Penguin in the 1960’s Batman television show.

Ok people. I know I’ve taken a bit of a hiatus from this blog, but I’m coming back to it. There will be only one change; this blog will now be request only. There will be no easter eggs that have not been requested showing up unless I find one that I enjoy enough to share.

I appreciate all your help in making this blog as successful as it has become.

Viewtiful Joe (2003)

Have Joe draw out a ‘Shocking Pink’ bomb by holding the kick button, but instead of having him kick it away, keep holding the kick button. He will start to hit it around like a hacky sack. Joe will also start to whistle the beginning of the Super Mario Bros. theme song.

If you do this while in mid-air, he will start to whistle a different part of the song.

A video of the easter egg can be seen —-> here.
